Happy Here Comes Christmas, reader!
Still no white fluffies in Albuquerque, but Santa Fe has bunches! I lived for 30-years in Washington State and I don't care if I ever see another snowflake. So, there!
This issue of The Journal should be a fun one for our readers. There is a veritable plethora (nice word, eh?) of information from gifting to photo trends to SEO ranking and a bit more.
Speaking of gifting, give yourself the gift of our latest publication, "The Horse." The new PDF came from a suggestion from Helen K. Garber, Shadow & Light Magazine's special events editor. It is based on a recent regular release of The Horse as a regularly-released PDF magazine. We are still accepting pre-sale contributors, who will receive the 112-page PDF for only $10 when it is released which is scheduled for mid-week, next week. The regular sale price has not been decided. Portfolios in the Special Issue include: Susan Friedman, Shelley Paulson (image, above), Keron Psillas, Mary Aiu, Lynne Pomeranz, Tom Chambers, Chris Stevens-Yu, Susan Kanfer, Oliver Klink, Landry Major, and Tori Gagne. More information is below... and click on the provided link for your great pre-sale price of only $10!
"The Horse" is set to release in plenty of time for Holiday gift giving..
• Announcing a new book! Due to the popularity of our recent issue, "The Horse," we will release a companion book as a PDF and it will also be available in print, through the same platform as Shadow & Light Magazine is wonderfully printed. This book will feature portfolios from the magazine as well as select, invited photographers. It will be all about horses and will contain no commercial ads. Final prices are yet to be determined, but you can (of course!) take advantage of the pre-order at the great low price of only $10.00!
• One last item and I will let you get on with reading this issue of The Journal. I am offering my One-2-One coaching series for only $250 through December 23, 2025. This includes 6 one-hour sessions. You can purchase the series at this very low price for your self or some other deserving friend. Your Choice. We can do the classes in person or through Zoom. Email me (below) if you would like additional information. You can also just sign up through PayPal here...
