Color It Red 2023 deadline has moved from 6/24 to 6/28. You still have a few more days to enter. Jump into Summer with both feet by entering this year’s contest. It’s only $20 for 10 images and a chance at being the cover artist in the Special Color It Red issue, which will be published July 15, 2023.

• I had a total knee replacement (TKR) 5/23 and am now home, still exercising and icing my right leg. I have figured out that that process takes up about 4 hours, each and every day. One thing I noticed that seems to be an after-effect of the surgery is that my creativity seems to be taking a mild vacation. By the way, I have also lost 10 pounds! I figure this is all just practice for the other knee, which will be done shortly after I am released from pyhsical therapy. Wish me luck!
