• Entries are arriving! In cooperation with Helen K. Garber, the new CFE is Santa Fe NoirFest. In conjunction with a workshop Helen will be teaching through Santa Fe Workshops . Following the workshop there will be an all-day event at the La Fonda Hotel, 10/11/2025, that will feature a panel discussion of the book, "Ride the Pink Horse," and a free screening of the noir film of the same name.

The highlight of the evening will a looping slide show of Winning Portfolios from Shadow & Light Magazine’s call-for-entry, as well as selected images from Helen’s workshop. This should be a wonderful day of great photography discussion, images, and friendship.

Winning portfolios will be featured in the September/October issue of Shadow & Light Magazine, with the Featured Portfolio winner's image on the cover!

The evening's festivities will include a reception with food, drink and period live music, a panel discussion, as well as a looping slide show of portfolio winners from our CFE! Click the link, below, to enter and for additional information.
