Below are a few updates on new and newer projects I am working on to share with the Shadow & Light Magazine family. I hope you enjoy reading about them and if you have any questions, let me know. Just click on the link, at the bottom.

• My newest project, "observations," is a zine all about me. I am just finishing up issue 3. "After many years of publishing the artistic endeavors of others, I finally decided as I close in on 81...to take off the mask and offer my personal observations on the many things that continue to impress and inspire me to continue photographing, traveling, writing poems and essays, as well as dabbling in other artistic adventures."

The zine will only be available in a print format to better enhance the viewing process. It will be released bi-monthly at 6x6-inches, with 40 pages and you will either be able to purchase single copies or grab an annual subscription. Single copies will be $15 and annual subscriptions will be $75, which will equate to one free issue. Click here to view a sample issue and for additional information.

• the starter has now released 143 email issues, that arrive in your inbox at 8am every Monday morning. I include short pieces that are inspirational and full of positive vibes, with a nod toward photography and poetry and good feelings. In the current issue, I chat about "Owning Up to the Truth," even if it hurts. • Just a few quick notes to let you know the November/December 2026 issue issue of Shadow & Light Magazine (SLM) will be our very popular Black & White issue. Entries and images are being accepted. Our low entry fee of $25 for up to 10 image almost makes this a no-brainer. The winner gets the cover of the Special Issue. Find out more, here. What a great way to begin the New Year! The January/February 2027 issue will feature the return of the popular series, Single Image Showcase, in which photographers can place a full-page image in each of the 6 issues during 2027.
