Spring is trying to get sprung around Albuquerque, but it's in spurts for now! We hope your weather is cooperating with your desires, wherever you may be reading this.


The next issue of Shadow & Light Magazine is shaping up! So far, we have Jamey Stillings and and a review of his timely, compelling and beautifully-produced book, Atacama, as well as portfolios by Cig Harvey, J. Alan Constant, and (of course) McCollum and Immel. More are in process. We will also welcome back our very popular Single Image Showcase, which features photographers offering one full-page image in 6 consecutive issues of Shadow & Light Magazine. So far, we have enlisted Meredith Mullins, Mara Zaslove, and Maria Zendejas, with more to come. Interested? You can sign up a few paragraphs down.

• New Call for Entry, The Horse (image above Tony Bonanno): As you might guess, there are a few people around New Mexico who love horses, so much so that it has come to my attention that in our 10 years of publication, we have never had an issue dedicated to these life-affirming, family oriented, four-legged friends.
